According to a government statistical survey, in 2023, over 5.5 million permanent employees in Japan wanted to change jobs, but only 940,000 of them had done so. This large gap is expected to lead to significant growth for domestic recruitment business by properly eliminating the mismatch between job openings and job seekers.

On a global perspective, the average lifetime turnover of businesspersons in USA is assumed to be approximately 4.6 times, while in Japan it is only 1.5 times, and this liquidity is still at a low level. In Japan as well, recruitment business market is expected to expand as the turnover of businesspersons increases in line with governmental measures to increase the mobility of employment and the promotion of human capital-based management.
